Loved our experience with Erik! He was such a knowledgeable instructor and really calmed our nerves as first time divers and made the process very simple and easy! If you’re a first time diver I definitely would recommend them! Erik was also so much fun down in the water and he really showed us all these cool things while down on the floor. If I ever dive again I will definitely be diving with them :)

Erik was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. and probably the biggest reason we went scuba diving! He was great at making us feel comfortable even via emails when I still wasn't totally sure I was gonna do it, being an amateur swimmer. He is very personable and answered all of our questions and helped calm our nerves before we dove in! He is a great instructor and understands people panic and is easy to work with. I highly recommend this company and Erik especially! We had the time of our lives and he knows all the amazing spots to go diving.

We dove with Erik on Memorial Day weekend and he made sure we all had a great, safe dive. For a group of 3 of us (one who has never been before), he coached us on how to dive safely and make the most of our trip. He captured great photos of the experience (including one of the three of us and a turtle). Overall it was a great experience !

Strongly recommend this for group dives and a more intimate dive experience where you're not in a big scuba group where you won't see as much down there! Erik also brings his go pro and is a true pro at capturing amazing pictures of the group while also finding marine life (we saw a number of turtles, an octopus and even a baby shark!)
He safely brought out a group of 7 of us (2 recently certified open water divers) to a 100 ft wreck dive and we all had so much fun. Super reasonable price for our group to get our own boat charter as well and do two separate dives.

Cannot recommend him enough-- definitely will dive with him again especially to harder dives like wrecks!

Wow this was an unforgettable experience! 5 stars is not enough. I can’t imagine doing my first dive any other way or with anyone else. Erik was very patient and knowledgeable. He explained the equipment, what to expect, and what to do in different scenarios. He answered all questions and had a really calming presence, which came in handy when I got scared at the bottom. He eased us down slowly on a rope and checked in frequently to make sure everyone felt okay. As he warned us, the breathing takes some getting used to, which is why I’m so glad there was a second dive! I felt much more confident the second go around and it made all the difference. He guided us around the ocean floor, pointing us in the direction of many sea turtles, starfish, trumpet fish, parrot fish, and so much more. Erik took incredible photos of everyone, too, so my family and friends were also blown away by this experience. If you’ve ever wanted to try scuba, you MUST go with Erik at Oahu Diving!
