“A beautiful location on Oahu’s North Shore. Plenty of room to enjoy with your large family or group of friends. 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 baths plus a bonus room and an amazing open air lanai with beautiful views of open fields and palm trees. We also loved having access to beach gear to use during our stay.”

“What a special place. Quiet, well-kept, yoga pavilion, on the beach, beautiful sunsets, delightful morning swims before setting out to explore the rest of the area. Greg, and his wife, Annie were always helpful and friendly. The housekeeper also added to the positive vibe. In addition to a clean bungalow, she brought us flowers, shared her knowledge of local birds, and showed us where we could do laundry (note, pack less - do laundry). So well situated, we took a break from the car and rented bikes. Easy bike access to food trucks, grocery store, Shark’s Cove, and so many beaches.”

“Stayed here for about a month while PCSing in. Room service was great and all the staff were extremely kind. Room was spacious, even with our 2 huskies and their big crates. My only complaints are 1) the wifi occasionally shuts down or is very slow, which was a bit frustrating as I work remotely 2) the shower area had some mold. Otherwise, the room was clean and fit our needs well.”

“We stay at the Mariott every time we come to Oahu . We love the atmosphere and location. We love swimming in the lagoon and watching the beautiful sunsets. The rooms have everything we need during our stay.”

“It's gated and on the beach, what more could I ask for?! 😄 Clean and updated. Quiet. Pros...cold AC, washer and dryer, tile floors for easy cleaning. Only cons, no fan ventilation in the bathroom (there was a window), and our WiFi had poor service.”

“We went to the farm yesterday because we were interested in a non-profit farming organization that gives back to the community. We were pleasantly surprised by a few things including being taken on a very informative and enlightening tour by the farm manager Jerome as well as delicious food from the restaurant--the goat cheese and pita was delectable!”

“It is one of the best camping site on Oahu, out from beach and ocean you will be on the top of hill with view of perl city on one side and ocean on other side. The sunset and sunrise are really breathtaking. Don’t forget to pose on big chairs facing ocean.”

“It's such a peaceful place. Doesn't seem like you're on Oahu, the most populated island.”

“The office staff in Kahuku are terrific. Maralyn is always willing to answer my questions. The entire staff is accommodating and will help me with all my vacation needs. They make sure the condos are clean and properly equipped. The Estates at Turtle Bay staff are one of the main reasons why I keep coming back year after year.”

“Overall have enjoyed staying here. The staff are friendly, the property is in good condition, the beachfront is great. The reason for only 4 stars is not the facility, but the time it takes to get to the rest of the island. Rush "hour" is bad. If you book an early time anywhere and do not want to worry about being late. Plan on leaving 2 hours ahead of time. It may only take you 70 minutes, but could take the full two hours+. So recommendation is to leave after 8:30. We did have an issue with the refrigerator. Called the office and in 15 minutes, Tom was at our room working on the fridge. Again, the staff are great!!! If I was going to do my vacation again, I would book a few days in Honolulu and the rest of the time here.”

“We stayed at the cottages late April 2017 the cottage was amazing a gorgeous beach just yards away from the cottage and tide pools and coral reefs just outside the patio. Got to snorkel in the bay and swim with the turtles such an amazing experience. We also had the vice president mike pence stay right next door that was a little crazy but he only stayed for one day. A week i will never forget thank you for the memories.”

“One of the reasons our trip to Hawaii was so amazing is because of where we stayed! The beach villa was wonderful. The villa is right in front of the pool and lagoon #2. We were there during Halloween and the resort had a little Halloween event our 5 year old was able to participate in. The place was so perfect it made it difficult to leave. We hope to come back to Hawaii and stay here again!”

“Always stay here because of there pet friendly rooms. It’s always difficult to book space at the vet for boarding services. Now, my dogs can sleep with me. Air conditioning can be set to 60 degrees if you are able to bear it. Breakfast is a buffet style.”

“The rooms aren't super luxurious but they are decent. You get a designated parking space. The management is super nice and handle issues quickly. I would stay here again...”

“Its beautiful. Gorgeous sunsets but I don't swim there because of high bacteria tests. I'm sure its better further toward the base or "Rest Camp" even closer to the "Beach House 604." The water moves in and out much more than by the breakwaters so I feel its cleaner. Otherwise a very nice beach for children and non- swimmers.”

“Absolutely gorgeous hiking and wonderful people caring for the grounds. Highly recommend, good for families. Two miles to view the west side. The four mile hike to the WWII bunkers gets views from diamond head to the west side (we couldn’t go because we had a little one with us).”

“Makaha Beach Cabanas was a wonderful place to stay. We really enjoyed the view right out the back door. We arrived at night so we couldn't see what we were in for. It was amazing waking up to the ocean. Best experience of my life. Will definitely be staying there again next time we plan our trip. Although the tides were a little strong for children to be swimming in. It was a great get away for an adult vacation.”

“I can't rave about this place enough! We stayed in the 3rd floor of The Back House, in the room next to the bathroom. Perfect view of the beach with a little part of the Main House peaking through but it was so worth it. There are so many lounging areas and the house is amazingly open and airy. Once the sun starts to set however, mosquitoes come out to play. Nothing a little bug spray and closing some windows and doors can't fix! It is super close to the beach, a food truck park, and Foodland grocery store. The staff was friendly and helpful, even offered an extra pillow. We met a lot of wonderful people staying here and they've become good friends. Definitely wouldn't have gotten the same experience at a tourist-packed resort. The best place to live like a local and meet new people! Highly recommend and can't wait to be back!!”

“This is by far the best hotel my family and I ever stayed in! Everything was perfect! Cameron at the front desk provided exceptional customer service and was very detailed in giving us information about the hotel! And was upfront about the taxes we had to pay for the hotel! The services were very organized and it was easy to get a reservation at Mina Fish House through Open Table or simply talking to a representative there at the restaurant! The food was very good! Breakfast at Noe was great too! The pool services was organized and efficient! The room my family and I stayed in was outstanding and well maintained! The hotel is pricey but it is worth it if you are looking for great services. No other hotel is better than the Four Seasons in this area! Don’t waste your money next door at Disney! Four Seasons is the best place to be!”

“Great place to stay with kids (11 and 13). pool was really nice, lagoon was great for kids that are still learning to swim. Enjoyed that this lagoon was not crowded compared to Disney one nearby. Rooms are great size with everything you need to cook a few meals on your own. Will definitely come back again.”

“Great place to kick back, I got a room through air B&B, the room was very expensive for the lack of square footage. Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy. But you can not beat the location. The building felt tired and dated it could use some TLC.”

“Cheap, cheerful and near the airport! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic and bed comfortable. Old style window AC whose noise drowned out the nearby light rail construction. Some repairs to the cracked and chipped areas would be nice. This place could be so cool with the right paint. Price is right, especially compared to distant hotels. Free shuttle. On-site Chinese restaurant. Mini convenience store has the basics. Gardens are very pretty and well maintained. Pool looks welcoming. Nice comfortable stay for the night.”

“Stayed here with my wife and it was amazing! Called last second and the staff was quick to find us a room. Clean, A/C worked wonders and privacy were a few of the many things we've enjoyed at our stay. $140/ night for a break from the regular was worth it for us. Definitely will visit again.”
