  I selected Exclusive Builders after interviewing three contractors. Their quote was definitely not the lowest, but it was the most inclusive and seemed the most transparent. In the end, the quote was very accurate in predicting final costs. When picking finishes with the owner, he was very good at letting me know when I was looking at things which would increase expenses, and he was very helpful and helping me select finishes that would stay in budget but honor the design intent. He had a very good eye for aesthetics.
  
  Even more important, the whole team was very detail focused. Everything had to be just so. Any time I noticed something slightly off, they were right there to fix it.
  
  They whole team was very respectful of our space, sealing off areas not being worked on. The owner told me that they usually only take on two projects at a time so that they can give appropriate focus to each project and minimize delays.
  
  I was extremely pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Exclusive Builders heartily, and would hire them again.

  Having worked with Robert and his company for the past 7 years, I have had the opportunity to be on the other side as his apparel vendor. I can say with absolute certainty that he has always been fair, easy to work with, and a person that is understanding of the difficulty of working on highly detailed projects. Although our projects together can involve a great amount of detail, Robert has never let the small touches become a distraction from his outstanding ability to make good and timely decisions to bring the project to fruition. His attention to detail and insight are extremely valuable and appreciated.

  I had originally chosen to work with another company. Robert frequently worked in my building and after 4 months with this other company, I asked Robert to come look at the progress. He (along with several other people) said it was horrible and needed to be redone. He confronted the people I was working with and told them it had to be completely redone. They finally refunded my money. Robert gave me a good price to redo everything. He had great designing advice as well! I absolutely love my new bathroom! Thank you Robert and Exclusive Builders for helping me so much!!

  Robert and crew were fantastic to work with on 3 separate projects in our condo in River North.
  
  2 projects involved bathroom remodeling. The 3rd combined 2 adjacent units into a single unit. The results exceeded our expectations and all 3 projects came in on budget and on time. They are easy to work with and maintain a very clean work site which was important since we lived in the condo during all 3 projects. Highly recommend them for any size job.

  Robert and his crew did an excellent job. They created a barrier between the master bath and bedroom and made sure the hardwood floor into and out of the master was protected. There was only a slight increase in price, due to mold that was discovered (and he showed us) which involved removal and installation of dry wall. Robert was the ONLY contractor who took the time to discuss the reconfiguration of our plumbing at the time of the estimate and told us up front what the cost would be and stuck to it. His workmanship was impeccable. We also implemented many of his suggestions. Our remodeling was done in 2013 and we have not had any problems; as a matter of fact we get a lot of compliments on our master bathroom. I took one star off for punctuality which was due to a family issue with one of his crew. Robert has gone on to do other remodeling projects in our building which speaks volumes regarding his ability to meet client's expectations as well as his professionalism.
