DeVry University

I have been attending DeVry University at the Addison, IL campus since 2016. I am 48 years old and I have been taking 1-2 classes a term to finally achieve my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration concentrating in Accounting. DeVry is the perfect fit for me. Their classes run 8 weeks, so you can earn your degree faster. However, because they are only 8 weeks, the classes run at a faster pace than a 16 week class. Everyone who is associated and works for DeVry is very friendly, respectful and truly cares about your education and you. The Professors are superb and really care and help their students. I just graduated from DeVry last semester and I have got great experience here. The staff is fantastic and friendly. They are always willing to answer any of my questions, help me to register class and especially career services, they follow me up carefully with advice on resume, job searching and job lead. The Professors here are all great. All of them are my favorite, especially Professor Bonnie Rucks in my Senior Project course. She gave me knowledge and even taught us skills in professional world. I could say I have improved most of core competencies for my career. Highly recommended!!

DeVry was a excellent University for me. I got a Bachelor Degree from there in Technical Management. I really had a great experience and I had the opportunity to learn a lot of things for my future career. I would like to mention Career Development Course (CARD405), with Professor Lauren Deane. This course helped me a lot preparing me for the job market. Also the professor is a great person and very professional. I suggest everyone to take this course with Professor L.Deane. This will help you a lot!

I love the Addison campus! as a current student, I have all that I need for being successful in my classes. The facilities are great and kept up very well. If anyone doesn't have a computer or Internet access, this campus has them both, I believe that the computers are decent and the Internet service is reliable. I like having the option to attend on-site classes because I meet new people and get to know the professors personally, it is a good technology-in person experience. The connected classroom is awesome and i makes very good use of tele-presence technologies, as students are able to attend the same class in two different locations at the same time, this is a great asset.
Another thing that I love is the technology room where we have access to the latest technology including 3D-printing and virtual reality, awesome!

I have recently become a student at DeVry and I am very happy with the education and student services they provide. Before joining DeVry, I compared very many universities, regarding their degree programs and tuition, and they were the best fit for me. The admissions counselor was very helpful and did most of the work for me. Transferring my credits from other schools to DeVry was painless and I had a smooth transition. My first course was with Professor Bonnie Rucks, and she helped make the course a very good first impression of the entire school! I loved my class and could not wait to go to it every week.
