Illinois State Police

Another driver swerved to miss a piece of tire in the road, overcorrected and came right in front of our motorhome totaling it. Thank God no one was injured. Just shook up.
The officers that came to our rescue went above and beyond to help us. Even called the tow truck for us. Drove us to the rental car company.
That you ,thank you , thank you !!!!!

We were on I55 on Christmas day and at the construction site near Homestead rest area we noticed a police car with flashing lights(not sure if occupied or not) - - what would normally would have become a congested area was instead very orderly and drivers merged safely the way they should - - - on our return trip home northbound we noticed the same thing - - - great idea and it worked very well and made the trip much safer and less stressful in that area - - - Thanks again

I got pulled over for speeding. I was given a warning instead of a ticket, I know the officer was being very gracious because I definitely deserved a ticket. He was also easy to talk with which took away my anxiety about being pulled over! I'm proud that policemen like him are on the force in IL!!
