(August 13, 2018, 7:12 pm)Dr Manuel Mesirow, MD is and always will be my most favorite dermatologist ever. He knows what he is doing with treating acne. His dad was also a dermatologist. Been seeing him over the years on and off for a litany of maladies, for myself and my kids. He is amazing. This is the guy you go to to come as close to "curing" acne as possible. He is not conservative in treatment. I can not say enough great things about him. Changed my life.

In my opinion I think Dr. Mesirow is an excellent doctor as it pertains to knowledge and experience. As it pertains to being personable to patients, especially new patients, which I was, not so much. As I stated, I'm a new patient, as well as my young daughter and his experience and knowledge has been of great assistance in resolution of our skin issues. In my opinion his expertise are far greater than many in the Dermatology field. I cannot tell you how much he has helped me and my daughter and I am grateful. My one observation is his interest/manners towards his patients. I'm not sure if he treats all or just certain patients with this nonchalant attitude, but I’ve experienced it. This could be his overall demeanor, but that does not make it right.
In my first impression of my initial contact, the office staff was professional and efficient. The office appointment wait time was unacceptable, having to wait that long in the waiting area to see the doctor and then going back to wait in the room for a period of time. When Dr. Mesirow entered the room he was thorough with the examination, but his attitude was not personable and he was moving and speaking really fast as if he was in a hurry....that I did not like. I'm a person who asks questions and I made sure I asked every question that I wanted to, giving me the consideration of not just an individual, but a patient. I understand Dr. Mesirow is an “In Demand” doctor and have so many patients, and may not be able to provide the time but manners and consideration should be a given. If his actions are a reflection among certain patients, then he should communicate this and I’m positive those patients will not return or utilize the service. I understand some people cannot and will not accept actions of ignoring, rushing or treatment of non-importance, but maybe he does not mean any harm and that’s just his personality. I did not take offense but did notice it.
Overall I think his knowledge and experience outweighs the manners because it was not the worst doctor experience I’ve had and if you want honesty, follow through and overall treatment of the problem…Dr. Mesirow is the doctor for the job. In spite of his impersonal skills, I would highly recommend him. He seems like a no non-sense individual, but could be a bit more considerate towards his patients. I hope this helps. -

(April 5, 2018, 11:29 am)Seriously the best Doctor I've ever gone to. Very thorough, detailed, knows his craft exceptionally well, straight shooter; my idea of how a Doctor should conduct himself. I've taken my whole family to him for years and never been disappointed!!
