Dr. Mercado and his staff are the best! When I finally got tired of experiencing pain every time I put weight on my foot (sometimes it even woke me up at night), I called his office. His assistant, Carmen, was able to quickly schedule an appointment where Dr. Mercado determined that I had heel spurs. He took the time to thoroughly discuss my treatment options; from a conservative approach to the final solution which was surgical removal. After trying the conservative for awhile, we then scheduled the surgery which was over before I even realized it had begun. Due to Dr. Mercado's unique technique, I've experienced a speedy recovery. I'd be comfortable recommending Dr. Mercado to my family and friends - and have already done so. He's a compassionate, caring doctor - a rare find these days.
