(July 23, 2018, 12:15 pm)I have been coming to Kim's Alterations for a couple of years. I have always liked their work. I came in a week before my wedding. I had to purchase a different wedding dress last minute. I am only 5'2" and the dress I purchased was not made for someone as short as I am. The dress was two layers. The top layer was lace/mesh with a scalloped bottom. They needed to shorten the dress through the waist as it could not be hemmed due to the detail at the bottom of the dress. I also needed the waist line let out a bit. They had to reduce the length by about 4 inches. The shop owner told me it would be ready at the end of the week. I may need a fitting to make a few adjustments, but that would not be much work. I came back in a week and the dress was perfect! It fit perfect and I did not need any further work done on it. I felt the price was reasonable for the work they had to do in that short period of time. The work was so well done I could not tell that the dress was altered. I highly recommend this place. The owner and her staff do a wonderful job!

(March 27, 2018, 10:36 am)I went into Kim's Alterations with my wedding dress and left very happy with the price and the work done. I was looking to just have a bustle put in on the train and they offered a few different options and explained to me the pros and cons of each style. We agree on a 1 button and she also fixed a few loose buttons and tacked the cups in place. She suggested a few additional alterations but when I stated that I was comfortable with the fit she wasn't pushy at all. The work looks great and I will absolutely go back with all of my alteration needs in the future.

(July 8, 2015, 8:11 am)I absolutely love this place. I've been going here for more than 10 years. Always happy with the price, speed and quality. At this point, I drive 25 minutes to get here even though there's an alteration shop on my street. Totally worth it.
