  I had quite a bit of neck and shoulder pain about a year ago. Chris helped me identify my pillow as the root cause. Regular sessions with Chris helped me regain greater motion that I had lost from just being a stiff person and unnaturally carrying tension, mostly in my shoulders like most people. Chris' style - trigger point therapy - and advice during the sessions helped me identify areas in which I could improve my ergonomics, reduce pain and tension, and adopt healthy habits like regular stretching of muscles that I didn't know I have!
  
  For those not familiar with massages: each therapist has their own style. I only go with trigger point therapy - it's a gentle style that targets pressure points that will relax the muscular system. This style works for me because I hold significant tension during my normal day, and trigger point therapy has significantly relaxed rock solid muscles that have tightened over years of tension, thereby allowing me greater range of motion. There other styles that use different methods for different purposes.
  
  Also, keep in mind that the Massage Envy market is for average people looking for cost effective massages; it's not a high end shop, so you will start a couple minutes after your start time and end a couple minutes early.
