My husband and I couldn't have been any happier with our birth experience. I am beyond grateful to have had Amanda as our midwife. She cared for me while pregnant for anything I was going through wether it was mental, physical, and or emotionally. I felt as if she was an angel with guidance and pure wisdom. I have learned so much during this journey that I will utilize for the rest of my life. My husband and I will be forever grateful for Amanda's help with bringing our son into this world. This homebirth experience has dramatically changed my view on life and my super power of womanhood. She constantly reminded me that I am human and to cut myself some slack during this pregnancy. So much so that it helped me reverse my HBP. She doesn't know this but I secretly believe she saved my son and my life.
Amanda never left my side during my 8hr labor, she was such an integral part of our birth experience. If you are planning to have a baby or expecting soon, I would highly encourage you to hire Amanda! I couldn't have gone through delivering an almost 10 pound baby naturally without her by our side. As a first time mom, I really didn’t know what to expect, but what I did know was that I wanted to birth at home. Amanda took her time to explain the birthing process as well as what to expect during pregnancy. She also educated my husband on how my hormones would affect me along the way. Each of her visits she check my vitals, including my iron, which is naturally (and normally low) and suggested ways to increase it for safe delivery. When the time came, she helped me in ways I could only imagine. This kind and gentle spirit not only guided my son here, but helped me to meet another version of myself I did not know. She’s an amazing woman and midwife!

Bottom line upfront: You will not find a more caring and sincere midwife than Amanda. She is the pinnacle of calm and encouragement during pregnancy, labor, & and new parenthood. If you want to feel valued and respcted as a person, then hire Amanda!
