Pilcher's Shoes

Some friends of mine from church recommended this place to me when I told them about the trouble we had finding shoes to fit our 2-year-old daughter. My wife and I took her up there, and the place did NOT disappoint! We got new snowboots and new church shoes for her, and my wife found some beautiful flats on clearance as an added bonus! We will be making more trips up here to shop for shoes as long as we live in northern Indiana!

this is the best place to go for a pr of steel toes you dont want ta know are on ur feet! agreed there should be 10stars for this place hands down amazed at staff and the knowledge of how to fit you comfortably!!! will be going back in 30days to pick up another pr they put back for me that i liked too!!! who does that??? this is my new shoe store period.

I would give them ten stars if I could! I have driven by Pilcher's literally hundreds of times on my way to work, I've lived in the Barbee area for 15 years and I have just never stopped. The building is a CASTLE!!! Kind of an intimidating structure to walk into, but boy will you feel like a Royalty when you walk out. Get ready to be treated like a Queen or King because Pilcher's customer service is on the next level. I have always had problems with my feet. Like bring you to tears at the end of a night shift kind of feet. Following a few recommendations from friends and family, I decided to just do it! I was going to the Castle for shoes!
From the moment I walked up to the building I was treated as someone special. From the guy seemingly trimming bushes out front to Dawn and her nephew, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Dawn spent a long time fitting my shoes just right for ME. I have never experienced such personal attention while shoe shopping. She NAILED it. I have never felt more comfortable in my shoes. When I first walked in my custom fitted shoes, I could have cried. Finally, a pair of shoes that feel like a part of my foot. I don't know that I've had that feeling before. The shoes may be on the higher price scale, but for one - you just walked into a Castle, two - these are Quality brands that you would pay twice the price for once they are custom fitted. My feet have never felt better.
If you haven't given Pilcher's a try, go treat yourself, your feet will thank you!
