My boat motor was stolen on 11/3/17. I called the police and insurance to start the claims process for a replacement. I have a yearly trip on 11/10/17 which is the big trip for which I bought the boat. I thought I'd be canceling the trip. Monday morning 11/6 i called everywhere. Holiday, basspro, cabelas, etc. None of them could get me a motor for at least 3 weeks and installation would take longer. I also spoke with Russ Terpstra about replacement options. By the end of the day monday my boat was inside Terpstras shop getting ready for a new motor to be mounted. I will pick the boat up on 11/9 and head out for my trip the next day. Luckily etecs don't require break in. Russ was patient with my dozens of phone calls as I tried to hammer out financial and logistics details between insurance, finance company and the shop. He has been extremely accommodating and helpful. I can't thank Terpstras enough for saving my trip.
