  This was my first trip to Ireland and and I experienced this beautiful country on one of Mai Hernon‘s Secret Ireland tours. My cousin knew Mai and suggested this trip for some of my siblings and cousins. We had a group of 12 including some spouses and traveled from the Dublin area up to Belfast across the northern areas of Ireland and then down the West Coast, stopping each night in some major cities and small towns experiencing much hospitality wherever we were. I went into this trip with no expectations, but by the end of the tour I was just amazed by the number of sites we were able to see and the depth of the experiences we had, which was a true testament to Mai’s ability to put together a customized tour using her extensive knowledge of the country and many contacts. If you truly want an up close and personal tour of Ireland then I would highly recommend going on one of The Secret Ireland tours. You won’t regret it

  My recent trip to Ireland with Secret Ireland Tours was one of the best trips I have taken! Our trip coordinator and tour guide made it exciting, seamless and worry free. Mai took into consideration all the places and things we wanted to do and any changes along the way and made it happen. All we had to do was show up each morning ready to go! Mai even threw in some great unplanned surprises that gave the trip a personal touch. Before the trip was over we were all thinking about the next trip back to Ireland! I enjoyed this trip so much it gave me a strong desire to return. Without hesitation I would contact Mai to make the arrangements. Can not wait to return! Thank you Mai!!!❤️🍀

  If you want to see the real Ireland then there is no doubt this is the trip for you.
  Mai really does take you out and about to the secret Ireland that she knows and loves.
  Her knowledge and enthusiasm for her native soil showed from the moment we met her to the moment we left.
  She took us off the beaten track to show us some phenomenal scenery and locations.
  How many holidays can you return from having visited ancient burial grounds, a prison, a Fairy Fort with magical fields, and an ancient fire festival?
  We did all of that and more plus throw in some cracking accommodation, good food and drink some fine music and the joy trying to explain the offside rule to new American friends.
  I can't recommend this trip enough, I rate it as one of the best trips I've been on and a lot of that enjoyment must rest squarely with Mai and her efforts

  I FIRST traveled to Ireland with one of the "big tour" companies.
  And THEN...I traveled with Mai & her Secret Ireland Tours. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON. I have now twice traveled with Mai & am heading back over with her next month. If you like to go to the kinds of places that are off the beaten path...she's your gal. If you like to visit all of the famous places Ireland is known for...she's your gal. But if you like to travel with a smaller group of people where, by the end of the most amazing week, you will have developed friendships that last way past your traveling week together...she's your gal. We stay in family run hotels, where, that is exactly how you are treated. The owner knew us ALL by first name only hours after we arrived.
  Mai sticks to the planned places we will visit, but, leaves just enough room for us to be a bit adventurous & take off in different directions if we feel there is something of interest we would really like to see. Mai is open to suggestions. She is SO VERY accommodating & kind. She creates an atmosphere of, not traveling with strangers, but that, we're traveling among new friends. Her prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, PLUS, she has a payment plan option. So, you can pay a bit each month coming up to the departure date. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her, the way she treats her "guests", & just how very happy YOU WILL BE when you return home from a Secret Ireland Tour !!!
