Better Burgers & More

We had a substantial wait on our food after we ordered, that didn't seem to be the norm though as everyone else received their food shortly after ordering. I ordered the country fried steak which turned out to be a chuckwagon, or that's what they're called in the school cafeterias where I attended. My fault? Yes. The name of the place is Better Burgers and I'm a burger fanatic. Two people in my party ordered burgers and both were more than satisfied. The staff was friendly.

Good burgers and my fiancee said the fish sandwich was awesome. The portions of sandwiches are huge but could add some more fries to the orders as the skinny crinkle fries are great also.

Just tried this place for the first time! Best burger in town! I cant believe we waited so long before trying! Its VERY good, the food, the price & the people! All top notch! Definitely a go to!

I wanted to sample the Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy is made using the bacon dripping. It is silky and has good pork flavor, but it desperately needed some salt. The biscuits are brought in fresh every day. They are a bit dense and not super fluffy, but they offer good texture with the gravy.

My fiancé had the Cheeseburger and fries. This is served with a 1/3 pound burger, American cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. The burger was seasoned well, was juicy, and had a good crust. The cheese was melted correctly, the bun is toasted, and the veggies were fresh. Her fries were cooked almost to a great crisp, but they required salt.

I tried the Tom's Spicy Burger and fries. This is served with two 1/3 pound patties, grilled onions, jalapeños, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, and pepper jack cheese. The bun was toasted well, the burgers were seasoned, crusted, juicy and cooked perfectly. The cheese was melted and the veggies were fresh. The special sauce did not have a lot of flavor. It tasted like a spicy mayo. The spiciness could be turned up just a bit and there needs to be a little more sauce on the burger.

Better Burgers and More serves breakfast all day, with several options and lunch entrées consisting of burgers and sandwiches. They also have daily specials. The service is great. The Fat Man says that Better Burgers and More is Fat Man Approved with 2 chins.
