Pork medallion lunch special was awesome, scallop appetizer was awesome (little pricey but worth it), seafood eggplant pasta was really good, the crab meat stuffing was a little pasty(not a fan of that) but did have decent flavor. The eggplant and the pasta sauce were very good.
Awesome place, great view, love the decor, absolutely will return. One of the best places in and around slidell.....PERIOD!!! I've tried them all and I'm hard to please. Not 5 star because no one is perfect 🤷♂️
Excellent waitress Leslie, excellent food the sirloin steak and the Shrimp platter. Onion rigs for the appetizer were fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Great food great atmosphere and locally owned what could be better!
Phenomenal dinner! Decided to try the meatball appetizer for the first time. It was solid! I had tonight's special of pompano. It was light but delicious. I also had a bite of the steak which was incredible. Dessert was the chocolate bourbon pecan pie and it was the perfect finish to the meal. The bread pudding was also phenomenal. Nathan's was an absolute winner tonight!
I had the pleasure of dining at Nathan’s for the first time and I must say we enjoyed the Crab meat au gratin appetizer, Mike Snapper and Trout Christopher as entree’s. The fish is the freshest I have had at a restaurant in Slidell. The creamed spinach is very good as a side. The ambiance is relaxing, staff were very attentive. They also have a lunch menu.
We went without reservations at around 2 pm on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed Calamari and Bacon Wrapped Scallops as Appetizers. For the main course we had the Cobb Salad (with Grilled Shrimp) and the Bacon and Cheddar Burger (delicious sourdough bun). For dessert we split an order of Bread Pudding. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Nice dining environment, we will be back.
