  You can always find something you can use but the prices are ridiculously high the items are used, when you compare the price of a new item to the used one you are better off buying a new item.
  I love them because if you have an antique piece and you are looking to match it to something you are more than likely to find it there. Great place but prices are over priced for old used items.

  2nd Chance did an amazingly thorough and professional deconstruction of our 2-family house in Brooklyn, NY, while at the same time providing critical workforce training to those hoping to learn this important craft. I would highly recommend their deconstruction/job training program to homeowners facing a renovation project with a zero-waste lens.

  I had an extremely positive experience dealing with Second Chance. You all were incredibly professional and helped guide me through the deconstruction process. I have recommended your services to others and will continue to do so. It’s nice to know that our home was donated to a worthy cause and didn’t end up in a landfill that negatively impacts the environment. In addition, the deconstruction process allowed individuals to get on the job training and develop valuable construction skills.

  This place is awesome!! You could spend a whole day in this 200,000 sf piece of paradise. So much to reuse here that its hard to believe. Now that I know it exists I'll be back with a shopping list. Wood floor, appliances, cabinets, furniture, railings, artwork, sinks.......it goes on. You have to go if you want to find a piece to reuse or repurpose.

  We engaged Second Chance at the recommendation of other local builders in the Vienna, VA area in the deconstruction of our home prior to demolition. From start to finish the entire team was responsive and easy to work with. We were impressed by how prompt and efficient they were in both the planning and execution of this large project. It is incredibly satisfying (and tax-efficient!) too to know that these materials could be repurposed. Also, it was a truly fascinating process to watch for our whole family and on some level helped us emotionally say goodbye to our old home.
