  Preservation Maryland is completing an archealogical study of the Fort Tonoloway 1755 Fort and surrounding area during 2019. Perhaps the State Park will re-open someday with new information on this French & Indian War era site that pre-dated Fort Frederick as the frontier fort in this part of Western Maryland

  Biking on the Rail Trail. Beautiful day, lots of people walking and biking. Several places to get on the trail. Lots of small shops and businesses. Close to I-70 and 68.
