  I cook a mean steak but it does not compare to Ruth's Chris. It also costs a great deal less and at home the sides are included. That being said, it is worth every cent. One thing did add a sour note. It was my birthday and the server indicated I would receive a bread pudding. Sure enough one arrived at the end of the meal but later it also appeared on the bill! My wife had made a cake but others in our party felt they should keep me company and ordered dessert too. Seemed like a not too subtle way to inflate a bill since we usually don't order dessert.

  Don't be fooled by the fact that Ruth's Chris Steak House is a chain. This is a first class, top shelf steak house. You'd be hard pressed to find a better steak anywhere. They also carry a nice selection of wines to complement your meal.

  The food was fantastic. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor. Our server was friendly and the service was quick. The ambiance is nice for a special occasion or more intimate setting since the lights are a little more dim than typical chain restaurants. Would not be somewhere we go regularly due to the prices but certainly a good spot and would recommend.

  An amazing experience. Been to several other Ruth Cris Steak House. They are all very good. However the one off of Rt. 50 in Md. Was wonderful. The service the food the drinks were all wonderful. The Buildings history all added to the atmosphere of fine relaxed dinning. Been to other restaurants that cost twice as much. But none even come close.
