    Great time Nordic skiing. Good snow for Massachusetts. Very quaint old barn visitors center. Could use a changing room.

    Definitely worth a visit in the winter. The lodge is cozy with a wood stove cranking out welcome heat. They sell basic snacks and drinks. The trails are top notch when we've had a good snowstorm. They do a great job of grooming the trails. The fields are great for beginners but the real fun is in the woods: hills, snow dusted trees, and fewer skiers than in the fields.

    Wow!!!! What a great I had here! My husband and I went on a hike with friends on Christmas morning! I can honestly say that we've never done that before on a holiday. However, new traditions can start at any time and I think thus will he a new one! The company of good friends made it all better!

    Wonderful place for taking long walks. Reasonably well maintained trails. A working dairy farm and ice cream parlor is added attraction if accompanying kids. Ample parking place ( with parking fee).

    I did a thing where I hiked almost all the 20 miles of trail. Highly recommend checking out the parks it connects to like the cranberry bog. there's a secret trail I know leading from the town center, along the sidewalk to the dump, through a trail that leads to a dirt road leading to the park. The Meadow pond has good bass fishing.

Season & Hours - Great Brook Ski Touring Center

Great Brook Farm State Park's Winter Use Policy. When adequate snow cover exists between December 1 and March 20, the machine-groomed ski trails (which are east of Lowell St.) are open only to paid skiers. Tickets for the machine-groomed ski trails can be purchased at the ski touring center at 1018 Lowell St.
