The good:
I've had pretty horrible spring/summer allergies for the last 10 years but never went to a doctor. I just took over the counter meds and they control my symptoms. I finally came in for testing and found to be allergic to pretty much every kind of grass and some other trees and weeds. Dr. Judge and his staff have always been very friendly and work in a pretty efficient manner. I've since been getting shots weekly to build up an immunity which is great.
The bad:
Dr. Judge really pushes the medication to control symptoms. I've almost always been able to control symptoms quite well through spring and summer by taking an over the counter pill once a day, I'll take a second if it's really bad. At my last checkup with him (late fall) he told me I should still be doing a nasal spray and taking a bill every day until there's snow on the ground. I've NEVER taken medication when I wasn't having symptoms. I'm a firm believer in using only what you need so I respectfully disagree with his recommendation.
Great doc, great staff. I have had the worst allergies for most of my life. Unable to go outside, open windows in my house, fresh air just makes me sick and aggravates my Tinnitus to where its virtually impossible to sleep not to mention violent vertigo. Thanks to Dr. Judge my allergies are getting better, I am now able to be outdoors for longer than 15min without my ears plugging up. Unfortunately I had an issue at the St Joe office not long ago, not any one persons fault per say, we all have our off days. Fortunately the issue was resolved. The staff here is great and Dr judge is the best. Thanks for putting up with me guys!
