Lodge Keeper Motel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for about 2 weeks. The owners are very nice and friendly and do their best to give good service. I had a fridge, microwave, cable tv, and good working AC. The building is old, so there were some issues with our door sticking, but overall I enjoyed my stay!!!!

Stayed for about a month until we got a place to stay in Lansing. Me and my fiance are a bit messy, so we got a warning from the owner but that was it. Asks if we need towels or anything else almost every other day. Our first week there we almost missed the deadline but they called to make sure we paid on time. When my fiance needed to take an injection for her weekly shots we asked the front desk if we could get a few disinfectant wipes and they let us keep the whole package. Very friendly staff and residents. Right by Gratiot and 23 mile Rd so walking everywhere is quite easy for us as neither of us drive. And the Speedway two doors down is a very good way to get a quick and cheap bite to eat.

Will definitely recommend to my friends and family if they need a place to stay for a night or even a few months.

Price is only $50 more if there's two adults.

Even when it was just me they let my mom book the room for me as i wasn't 21 years old as per policy. They saved my life while i was homeless back then because of it.

They're good people and made sure i was alright everytime i stayed there.

Room was extremely tidy and well tended to. Any issues I had during my stay were handled immediately by a very polite man, who seems to be the proprietor, as he was always at the front desk (I think this may be a family business? Unsure.)

I will definitely be returning here for all future trips downstate in Michigan.

We did not expect much from this place but we were definitely impressed by how clean the rooms are and the management is very nice service is great. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, room smells very very clean, great prices.
