    Peaceful right on the river.. a lot of goose poop everywhere, though..

    Read the placard, it says the important things. Nice shady relaxing spots by the river, slow pace, not populated, good fishing, horseshoe pits(need a rake), and playground for the little one.

    Simple and easy going riverside park. The riverfront walkway on both sides of the water really helps an out of towner to appreciate Monroe, Michigan.

    There are memorials there that are well maintained. There is an area for picnicking and playground equipment. The 3 tennis courts are in great shape. You can also fish the River Raisin here.
