(May 8, 2021, 9:04 pm)The Grosse Ile Pilot House is THE place to stay on Gross Ile! Jim Cortis does a fantastic job from the time you arrive until the time you leave...and after! I left some items outside and he investigated to find out who owned them. Then, he mailed them to my home! I highly recommend the Gross Ile Pilot House and particularly, Jim Cortis!

(May 8, 2021, 9:02 pm)This is a gem on grosse ile. Very comfortable rooms, very nice owner and keeps his pricing reasonable and very affordable for staying on the island. It even has a commons area with ping pong, air hockey and board games. This is a very relaxed atmosphere. Thats very hard to find these days.

(January 12, 2021, 10:03 am)My sister & brother in law stay here every year. I'm very impressed with what the owner has down to this piece of history! The rooms are big, comfortable, clean, makes you feel at home! Loved the the full kitchen too!
