Immanuel Lutheran Church

Fantastic motel on Padre Island. Quiet rooms and flexible check-in. We got a solo king-size bed and the room was SPACIOUS so I imagine the double queen beds also have enough room to allow for movement within the room as well.

It's an older hotel with a mild face-lift. Nothing special, but the room was clean and the beds were fairly comfortable.
Don't expect any amenities like ice or vending machines, or a continental breakfast. You get a clean room, a working AC, a microwave, a mini fridge, a TV and a complimentary coffee maker with a sniff of brew.
They have adequate parking, but don't expect to park an RV or boat there.
The location is good due to easy beach access. Also there is a market, a small cafe, a Domino's and sports bar across the road, as well as the La Palma and Island Italian restaurants right next door.
Overall it's fairly pleasant, quiet and reasonably priced. I'll probably use Oyo again .

I can't rave enough. I've stayed in budget hotels that were in terrible shape and unclean for higher price and while this one is obviously on the older side, it is very well-kept. Beds were comfortable, I felt safe, amenities all worked and the room was clean! What more can you ask for? Staff was very welcoming and helpful, location is incredible. 5 star review for this 2 star hotel.

Solid 5 stars for this place. We were a bit taken aback when we arrived because our room was still being cleaned. A quick walk to the office and it was sorted out immediately.

The room was spacious and clean. The AC was COLD. Bed was a bit firm, but comfy. The restroom was clean, and water pressure was perfect. The TV offered up a ton of channels, including movie channels.

The hotel is an older place, which is reflected in the exterior and the grounds. Don’t let it detract you from booking, though. This place was great. It’s a short drive to some quiet beaches. It’s surrounded by amenities that are within walking distance. As an added bonus, this hotel accepts dogs up to 60 lbs for only $10/night. Our 55 pound pooch was very comfortable. 👍🐶

This was our last resort booking due to my "forgetting to book earlier" but the hard working staff has won my respect. I never stayed in such an old shabby looking hotel before but I have to give 5 stars for the cleanliness inside and prompt service every time we called. It's also very convenient to have our car right at the door. There's nice surprise blooming white flowers plus a flock of seagulls from Whitecap Beach nearby when I made a sunrise trip the next morning. That's the reason I don't have the heart to push the rating down to 4 stars even though the ants showing up in our bathroom sink was not a good sighting! I do recommend a renovation of the place but am very grateful of your hard work.

Best daycare ever

I've been a member there for my entire life. A very family friendly environment and everyone is friendly. Immanuel Lutheran Church has been making apple butter for 50 years, and by far it is the best stuff I have ever had.

Perfect for our family reunion as family members have ties to the Church.
