My review was Great 5 Stars until a couple days ago when I was accused of stealing by an employee who misunderstood what i had said to a friend and she very loudly said this in the middle of the store. I very politely told her I have shopped there for years and she could search me. She very rudely told me no. And when I asked for the manager she told me she was the manager, and since I knew better, because I know the manager I informed her of this. Upon talking to the manager The following day she apologized to me and Said she would speak with her. My rating will remain at a 4 until this employee is terminated. Her name is also Cathy like the actual managers name, but she is not the actual manager. I was falsely accused. And that could also mean a lawsuit to dollar General. I would hate to see that happen. But I do not appreciate her obvious misunderstanding of the situation followed by the embarrassment of her accusation. I am not the only person she has done this to either, and that I found out after the incident. The other people Were also falsely accused by this woman and all same as me, are well paid at their jobs with zero inclination to steal anything. This has got to be stopped. Whatever happened to good customer service and innocence until proven guilty? You can not just run around falsely accusing innocent people of crimes.
Rant over... But still upset. So I'm dropping my 5 star rating to a 4 star..now the world knows why.
