I have now had the R2 for 1.5 years and use it 4/5 times a week. It’s been reliable and sturdy throughout. One does not realize how effortless the game becomes when you are not pushing or pulling a manual cart. The battery for the R2 has lasted well thus far - although I have not played two consecutive rounds with it yet. The remote battery also lasts well and has never run out during a round for me. Of course one has to be diligent about charging them, similar to your mobile phone. Initially the R2 takes some getting used to. It can even intimidate you at first as one has to learn the feature and functionality along with maneuvering it depending on follow or March mode. I invested in the extra wrap around sensor and it’s completely hands free. Depending upon your desire it can follow or march based on your desire on the fly. I have never had a situation where it could not climb up a hill on a golf course. Overall and expensive but good investment without question. Similar options are priced almost twice the cost.
Service : I have contacted the business based in Las Vegas few times over phone or email and each time they responded promptly - from sales to service. I did have a few issues that were promptly addressed at no cost to me. First, the 5th wheel came off. They sent me a replacement and it was easy to install. Andre time the main handle wrapping (rubber) tire and they were prompt to send that free of charge too.
Suggestions : 1. make the remote less bulky given todays technology. 2. The 5th wheel screw/bolt should be longer and strong so it has good support. 3. It seems to be wobbling when on dirt road or cart bath and tried to straighten but loses its sense of direction. That Never happens on fairways as it’s steady. 5. It does seem to “lose” connection with remote when a plane is flying around in local commuter airport. Not jetliners. Perhaps a better RF or allow user a choice to change RF. These are Dimple correctible things and happen occasionally - they do not take away from the pure joy of your own R2 following you around while you stroll the golf course.

I got my CaddyTrek last week, read the manual a few times and took it out for a test run in my neighborhood for about an hour. Pretty easy to use and but highly recommend you use it in wide open area first so you gain skill and confidence in using it.
Yesterday first day on the course absolutely loved it. Other golfers on other tee boxes etc commented that it looked like cool dog following me, then I would show off and make it March infront of me or just remotely send it off to the next tee.
In this time of social distancing it is ideal.
Made my game a little better to because it saved some strength. At 74 need all I can get.
Shot an 82 from the whites, best round of the year.
Great support even though they had to close up due to Las Vegas restrictions, the owner personally responded to a question the first day I got it.
    Great company and great owner.

I sent my 3 year old CaddyTrek R2 for a tune up and it came back like brand new. FTR Systems replaced things I didn't even expect them to replace (at no extra charge).
    Great product, great support.

I have owned my Caddy Trek for 5 yrs now and it still works great! I have received software updates in that time to enhance the controller response.
I have just finished doing some minor repairs and clean up over this winter. Repairs were due to the staff at my club dropping the unit and breaking the bungee holding cords and one of the sensors. Ordering parts was a breeze, and they all come with instructions; and if they don't customer service will send you a video of how to perform the repair.

I highly recommend the cart. It's great to walk down the course eating a snack or drinking a bevy and the cart is following along behind.

I love my caddytrek R2. It makes walking the course enjoyable. Everytime I go out people are amazed by the cart.
