  From the first moment I walked through the doors at Good Samaritan, I could feel the warmth and love that is clearly the foundation of their school. The staff truly makes you feel as though you are part of a family. My son was out for a couple days with a little bug, and they called to check on him and offer any assistance. I have never experienced this kind of care and concern from a school.
  
  We have been a part of the Good Samaritan family for three years, having started my son there in the Pre-K class. I love their balanced approach to learning. They allowed my son to explore his own interests while also preparing him to enter Kindergarten. I love the growth I have seen!! I can say, there has never been a day where I’ve had to “drag” him to school.
  
  If you’re looking for a “home” for you child, I highly recommend Good Samaritan Christian Academy!

  We sent our daughter here for Kindergarten. We explained while touring the school that she was delayed due to a speech delay and had anxiety (actually diagnosed, not just a shy kid). We were assured that it wouldn't be a problem. That they'd work with the school district if needed. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to a lack of communication. I felt that we were constantly having to check in and get info that should have been shared. For instance - Our daughter was struggling with transition and on more that one occasion, struck one or both of the teachers. To me, this is something I shouldn't have found out about while calling regarding a completely separate issue. I would think aggressive and violent behavior would warrant a call home. Nope. It happened multiple times before we found out about it. After that, I felt that I needed to check in to make sure everything was okay with our daughter. The teacher didn't tell us until our daughter's first report card that she felt our daughter still needed speech services and was struggling.
  
  The positives and the real reason I endorse this school are because of the following:
  1) Curriculum - When the school psychologist did an in school evaluation- she evaluates our daughter in her school setting - she stated they were working on things that the public school system wasn't even thinking of presenting to its kindergartners and based on what she'd evaluated, the majority of the children in the class were at that level with minimal struggle.
  2) Faith Based - They do an excellent job of incorporating faith based learning that is age appropriate and fosters faith, empathy, and basic christian beliefs.
  
  In the end, this just wasn't a good fit for our daughter, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great school with wonderful teachers and organized leadership. Mrs. Dake genuinely loves all of the children. If your child is ready for Kindergarten and quick learner this is going to be a fantastic school for them. Our daughter just wasn't ready yet.

  This is an amazing school. The staff and principle go above and beyond in every way. I know that my child is not only learning and growing in God's love but she is being loved and cared for in such a nurturing way. She started as a very shy preschooler with a lot of seperation anxiety and she has absolutely flourished into a social and strong independent 1st grader, thanks to the guidance of her amazing teachers and principle. We would not send her any where else and are blessed to have found this wonderful Christian school.

  That is an unfortunate story from the last reviewer. Sounds like better communication should have been made to inform the teacher and/or staff of your experiences. My experience, on the other hand, has been an excellent one! My daughter has attended New Hope for the past two years and we are very pleased with the school. The staff and teachers are always friendly and courteous. My daughter attends full time and will cry when I pick her up because she does not want to leave. That is how much she loves to be there! This is a wonderful school with excellent academics, highly qualified teachers and a kind and safe environment. I highly recommend it!!
