  I recently purchased a used car and when I went to start the car (at the dealership) it wouldn’t start. So they jumped the battery and off I went. I didn’t like the idea of my son driving somewhere and possibly being stranded so I called Van Meter Auto hoping I could bring it directly there to be looked at. Keith the owner answered the phone and told me to bring it right over ! Hallelujah ! They first checked to make sure it wasn’t the alternator and luckily it wasn’t, it just needed a new battery. As always so very pleased with the service, professionalism, and quality of all the work I have had done there. I plan to go back shortly to have the whole car completely checked over.

  Van Meter has been my go to mechanic for over 15 years. Keith and his crew are very knowledgeable and their prices are competitive. They are efficient and good at communicating with their customers. Their receptionist is also very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommended Van Meter Auto Repair.

  Van meter is a great place to take your car. For one they are honest and stand by their work. Our recent experience was my husbands car was towed there because it wouldn’t start. They had a new battery in and he was on his way within a couple of hours. We have been patrons there for many years and have never been disappointed.

  Justed moved into the area and noticed that Van Meter was always busy so decided to give them a try. They are friendly but most importantly honest. They never do any extra repairs without calling you first and will honestly tell you if you can put the repair off for a short time if needed or even if the repairs are more than the car is worth. Prices are reasonable and I have recommended others to them and they thanked me for it. So it’s up to you to give them a try.

  5 STARS!!! I Highly recommend!!! I originally took my truck to a dealership for diagnosis. Long story short, they could not figure out the problem and could not give me a diagnosis and wanted to rebuild my entire ignition system and ECM. I was quoted $800 to $1000 with NO GUARANTEE! They still charged me the "diagnosis" fee.
  
  Van Meter not only picked up my truck from the dealership (55 miles round trip), they provided an accurate diagnosis at a very fair price. Their diagnosis helped me to quickly repair the truck on my own and it has been running great ever since. I was fortunate enough to meet the owners and staff who were very energetic, friendly and professional. And I was also able to tour the shop and noticed that it was very clean and organized. My wife and I were sharing our other car while both working full time in opposite directions with two kids in school. If I hadn't taken it to Van Meter, the dealership would still be scratching their heads and stealing my money. Thank you Van Meter Auto Repair for getting my back on the road!
