(November 17, 2018, 6:34 pm)I happen to be here for a wedding in Rode's Barn, located behind the restaurant. It's an interesting place for a ceremony and a reception, the coordinator is very polite and pleasant. I hope to set up future weddings at this historical location!

(October 10, 2018, 7:36 am)I was attending a group dinner of roughly 25 people. We were served by 2 waitresses who were helped by several food runners with an additional waitress during the main service. Drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. Someone in the group ordered a serious number of appetizer plates brought to both large tables and these started arriving in a very timely manner. Everyone had a different meal, and without question, all were satisfied with their choices and quality of meal. And amazingly, all meals at both tables arrived within moments of each other.
It's typically a strain on most restaurants to serve large groups like this but roadies handles this exceptionally well. Which is why this has turned into a "go to" restaurant whenever we have a group meeting at the local regional office. If they can get hot, quality meals out to a large group then you certainly won't be disappointed When visiting with as a single individual, couple or smaller intimate group. -

Staff is courteous and friendly (have great drink recommendations) the food (had crab cake dinner & chicken caprese) is delicious with generous portions. Rode's is gorgeous (and immaculately cleaned) inside and out. Five impeccable stars!! Definitely worth traveling across the bridge for.

(July 22, 2018, 7:00 am)Food and atmosphere were phenomenal. Food came out very quickly and hot. Price was also very reasonable.
The BBQ sauce was delicious (I had the beef brisket sandwich), more on the savory side than the usual sweet side.
Can't wait to go back, would definitely recommend to a couple looking for a nice quiet place for a date night.
