It occurred to me recently that I had LASIK surgery with Dr. Benedetto 20 years ago and my eyesight is still 20/20. Best decision I ever made. f that's not worthy of a 5 star review on Google, I don't know what is. Highly recommend, this guy is a pro.

I've been wanting to get LASIK for over 10 years now and I finally got the guts to do it. I saw 3 different doctors in the area and after all of them, he was the only one who didn't sell me on HD vision, tear duct plugs, extended warranty's, machine cutting,... yada yada yada; he gave me no bullshit. He even came in on his day off to check my eyes out after surgery. He was and is so easy going, patient, friendly...all around, great doctor. I was super happy with him out of the 3 I saw. His staff is also great, I forget her name but she was great and helped put me at ease. After care with him and his staff was and still is a breeze. Totally recommend Dr. Benedetto.

Dr. Benedetto operated on my 32 year old daughter on 10/7/14 for cataract removal. The surgery went well but six hours later she developed excruciating pain from the eye down tot he bottom of her jaw. last night I called Dr. Benedetto's service at 4 p.m. and by 5 p.m. he called me back and I told him what was happening and he heard her crying through the phone. He immediately asked me if I could get out to Morristown as he was close to his other office having already left Bayonne. My husband and I got my daughter in the car and Dr. Benedetto gave us directions. He called us three times along the way to be sure we were heading in the right direction and his last call we were two exits away from his office. He stayed on the phone until we arrived at his door. He met us at the door and he immediately said "i can fix this for her." He said the pressure built up and he had to open the valve in the eye and relieve the pressure. Within 30 seconds my daughter was better; like a new person. I thanked him, hugged him. He got on the elevator with us, made sure we knew how to get back to Bayonne and we all left. Today she saw him and her vision is perfect in that eye. i can never thank him enough for being there and making sure we got there fine, and for MOST OF ALL, HELPING MY DAUGHTER. A GREAT DOCTOR.
