(August 23, 2022, 11:08 pm)The room was perfectly adequate for the price point. Clean, comfy beds with plenty of fresh linens. Large showers with great water pressure.
Mini fridge and microwave provided. The only thing missing for me was a coffee maker, but I knew about that from a previous trip and brought my own.
The pool is fantastic, especially if you're traveling with younger kids, or you just want to chill in the water with a drink. It's got a deeper end, but about 70% of it is 3 feet deep, with lots of lounging areas.
The Tiki Bar has a great basic selection of American style favorites on the food menu. Live music on the weekend is a nice touch.
The location, right on the river and just across the street their private beach, really can't be beat.
I can't wait to see what the boutique rooms look like when they're finished!
This place will be a summer time staple with our family. -

(August 4, 2022, 10:59 am)We liked the vibe of the place. I called the hotel upon booking personally the day before to check on the attached restaurant w-river view was going to be open the one night we were staying there for a birthday get-away. After we hit the beach and then dressed to go eat, the place was shut down early due to a power outtage that had occurred earlier. No fault of anyone of course! But a little surprising, never mentioned so that we could get dinner on time (places close early so it was a sprint to find a good meal in time). So the place operates simply but the beach is beautiful across the hwy and this is a great town. Attention to detail in the room is a C but it's fresh, simple, and positive. I appreciated the chance to stay there a lot and look forward to checking out their new building if not too much higher for the stay. We both thought the price was way above the motel room but it's the location, nice feeling and maybe because there are no other hotels to compete with. :)

(June 22, 2022, 4:26 pm)This was the best getaway. In addition to this being a great location, the staff was terrific and the quaint rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing and had a great river view while being steps away from the ocean. I look forward to visiting in the future.
