“I can’t say enough great things about Hopkins! Vickey was so pleasant and accommodating when I was arranging a dessert order for my one-yr old’s birthday. Our guests (ages 1 - 72) LOVED the cupcakes (vanilla, chocolate stuffed with ganache and carrot cake), cookies (triple chipper), and cinnamon rolls (the “minis” were huge!). Not only were they delicious but it’s so relieving to be able to provide desserts with CLEAN ingredients. I feel really lucky to have found a great organic bakery near by! I also snagged a pizza scone at pickup and it was amazing - loved the sun-dried tomato and pepperoni bits! Can’t wait to go back!”

You show or tell her what you would like in the design and she got you! She also does her own research prior to making custom cakes and checks with you if that’s something you would like. “We've only been here once so far so can't really speak on all the negative reviews. We ordered a Michael J Fox sandwich, cream cheese bagel, and coffee. Would have liked a choice of chips with the sandwich as I do not like Fritos. The sandwich was full of meat and very good. Bagel was hard, but the cream cheese was good . Service was friendly . Unfortunately the coffee is probably the worst I've ever had, very strong and muddy. Burnt tasting. Oh well. Definitely looking forward to trying them again. One major downside is it's HOT in there. Would not be able to sit and enjoy a meal. No air conditioning and it's 90 degrees out. So definitely suggest taking the food to go.”

“Beautiful high quality bakery with lovely kind owner. Went in Sunday end of day, so wasn't expecting there to be much and was totally ok getting day old stuff considering the time. The owner was so nice and let me know which items were too old and I shouldn't buy, that never happens when I go to most bakeries. She really cares about quality of her products, you can feel a genuine love for what she does. She recommended the mango cake that she just finished. Which was seriously the best cake I have ever had. She said she just sourced really amazing organic mangos, and you can taste it. The vanilla bean in the frosting was a perfect balance to the mangos. It reminds me of this expensive mango cake I got in Japan made from their luxury fruit stand in Osaka. Normally I'm a chocolate person, and her chocolate cake was like a chocolate cloud, super tasty, close second to the mango cake. Everything was so light and fluffy and not too sweet. It was too easy to eat everything I bought in one sitting. The cream puffs were also impressive. She recommended I freeze for 30 mins then room temp 5 mins, since these were also just finsihed. The shell and cookie top was.perfectly crunchy and thin and the filling was like really good vanilla ice cream. Also got some brioche with extra butter and dinner rolls. Loved the soft spongey texture and buttery rich tastes, reminds me of what we made in French pastry school. Definitely want to go back earlier when everything is freshly stocked :).”

I wanted this simple Mickey Mouse theme cake that my bakery, where I got my son's smash cupcake from, was trying to charge $300 for. I decided to look for some place else that wouldn't be as expensive, when I came across Walmart having the exact same one I wanted for $75. This cake was amazing and tasted delicious. My guests were floored when I told them it was from Walmart. I am glad I had a good experience and honestly, I would definitely try it again. This is a large bakery with lots of options and have been in business going on 95 years. Cookies, danishes , cupcakes, donuts, etc...Great location lots of parking as well as handicap access. Open 7 days a week by 7AM. Go in grab a cup of coffee and a treat you won't be disappointed.”
