The Hot Mess

I can’t believe I’ve lived in walking-distance to this restaurant for more than 2 months! Delicious food... the pulled pork and brisket were both fantastic as was the potato salad. I’ll agree with another person’s review that the mac n cheese was quite bland. But I’m so excited to go back again and try the ribs and other sides!

We moved into a new house just down the street from the Hot Mess this summer. We saw it one day while driving by and decided to try it...and boy, we were glad that we did. This place is AMAZING. The food is spectacular and the service is great as well. We order it every few weeks because we just get a craving for it. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Pretty decent southern type food. Next time I’m getting the smoked chicken wings! I got the brisket sandwich, and most of the sides to try em out. Mac n cheese was rather bland, the collard greens are tasty with the pork trimmings but spicy in a throaty way. Potato salad is on point, very good. Definitely a nice addition to the culinary diversity in this New Mexican saturated scene...

Becoming one of my favorite places to go for a little celebration, the fried pickles are ridiculously amazing. The staff is so friendly and so welcoming it makes you want to come back. The pulled pork was almost as good as the brisket, which was finger licking good. I can't wait for my next visit. They knocked it out of the park again. I even forgot my peach cobbler, and they ran out to get me in the parking lot. Customer service is great.
