Great hike if you don't mind some climbing over boulders. It's even better if you go in the opposite direction, starting at the women's monument.
One of the best hiking loops around! The rocks are the best part. And the stairs are the coolest yet most challenging part of it.
Beautiful view!!! Very peaceful. My suggestion is try to come during the week when it's less busy
We took the shore trail, stating from the parking lot.
We followed white marks, despite the description I checked on different websites, it was a difficult trail, specially pain through giant steps. So make sure you are not with KIDS. No kid friendly trail...
Very beautiful views we saw, and many steps we climed and descended, so be careful of your knees.
Threr also was a lovely water fall.
There are no bathrooms along the way, and the one in parking lot opens at 9:30am.
This was quite the adventure. Make sure you have the proper footwear. And bring enough to drink. For a 4 mile hike, it is very demanding. There were hikers of all ages (which I loved). Encountered plenty of friendly people along the route. An all around amazing experience.
