Behemoth pretzel is huge and excellent. Service was pretty good. Fish fry was great value. Do not order the Lemon/ pear martini, it tasted like dish soap, Stick with safe drinks.
Great Atmosphere, staff and very delicious food. A place for a nice meal any day for any reason.
Had to edit when this came out!!! An Apple Log Dessert. OMG sooooo good.
We had a great time, patio was really nice, Steamed clams were delicious, stuffed pepper burger and beef on week with the handcut fries, delicious!
First of all, the building itself lures you in; a tall red building smack in the middle of Transit Road halfway between Clarence and Lockport is definitely an eyebrow raiser to begin with. Every time you go by, you see people going into and leaving the building, and then you'll see people sitting out on a patio toward the back of the building. Eventually, after you memorize the name of the place, your interest piques, looking for somewhere new to eat. You look up a menu online and you see that they have quite the variety. I'm personally gluten free and vegetarian, though I do eat fish, so I thought that there were plenty of options for myself, and my weird, non-vegetable-loving-vegetarian fiance. (Okay, to be fair, he likes some vegetables, but he can't stand the traditional greens that go into Caesar salads and things of that nature.) Nonetheless, we went there one night looking to try somewhere new, and we had mixed feelings, but leaning more towards the positive side of those feelings. At first, I thought my serving size seemed small. I got the garden noodle bowl, with shrimp added, but I think inititually, the issue was that the huge plate/bowl was so large, that it made the amount of food on my plate seem smaller. It was by far one of the tastiest meals I've ever had.
My only legitimate complaint was that it was a whopping $8 to add shrimp to my entrée, which would have been fine, if they didn't only include a measly 4 pieces of shrimp. They labeled them as jumbo shrimp on the menu, but to be honest, they were not that big. For that amount, I would hands down expect more of the add on I'm paying that much more for.
My fiance got a veggie burger and said that was also very flavorful. We will probably be back at some point, and while the shrimp was also very good, and seasoned well, I'm not sure I would dish out that kind of money again if I were to order that entree again, unless, maybe, they provided more shrimp.
It's definitely worth checking out though, if you've been thinking about it like we were.
