This Poway Stake and Green Valley Ward is amazing!! I served my first 2 transfers of my mission in that ward!! I even got to meet Eric Weddle lots of times, definitely will be going back lol.

If you are looking for God, this is the place. To grow closer to our Savior. The members are warm and inviting. They are like a big hug you didn't know you needed.

Some people actually talk to me. There was a testimony of a little boy( about 10). Loved loved loved it. Sunday school isn't bad either. Can hardly wait for next week. The missionaries are such beautiful souls.

My children, husband and I love attending this church each Sunday and participating in the uplifting activities throughout the week. Visitors are always welcome. Church services are held each Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30 (12:00 for single adults ages 18-31) with other activities taking place during the week for girls and boys ages 8-11), Young Women (ages 12-18), Young Men (ages 12-18), Relief Society (for adult women), single adults (ages 32+), and young singles (18-31), as well as sports activities like basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer. Similar and additional activities and Sunday services at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, are also held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across the street on Pomerado Rd, next to the hospital.

I really could not be more surprised to learn of the previous reviewer's experience. I have been a member of all three wards that meet in the Poway Stake Center, and I know from experience that each ward is made up of excellent, Christlike people who go out of their way to help and lift others -- especially people who may be new or have extra need of kindness. If you're in the area and want a great church experience, please come visit us. I think you'll love it there.
