Red Cottage

My husband and I stayed at the Woodlands cottage for a long weekend. The cottage was beautiful and very clean. We had no trouble using the code to get inside. Everything we used in the kitchen and all the lights worked. Nestled in the trees, the cottage is a peaceful and secluded place to get away and relax. The porch is spacious and not too buggy. The little creek running past the house made a lovely background noise. For dog owners, the porch is enclosed so we were able to let our dog run around off leash. One thing I’d say is bring a flashlight because it does get very dark and you need some light to walk from your car to the door. We had a great time and we’d definitely stay at the cottage again!

We've booked countless Airbnbs over the years, but our recent stay was hands down the best ever. The home exceeded our expectations in person, far surpassing the fantastic photos. It was impeccably clean, spacious, and filled with comfortable beds and furniture. The backyard was a peaceful retreat, perfect for grilling and enjoying the view of the pond. Plus, the location was incredibly convenient, with Main Street just a short walk away. The hosts at Red Cottage were thoughtful, checking in to make sure everything was perfect. We're already planning our next visit. This Airbnb experience has set a new standard for us.

The house was great, perfectly clean, well equipped, spacious and cozy. We used the pool and the hot tub, and our dogs lived the massive grassy yard. The weather was a bit average but we had plenty of space inside to play games and have a nice meal. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a Red Cottage Airbnb property Eden Pond - Sunny and Private in The Catskills, and I can confidently say it was a truly great experience. The location of this property is unique. Nestled in the heart of nature, it offers a peaceful and secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Excellent game room as well! The accommodation itself was excellent. The attention to detail and design were evident throughout every corner of the property. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and exuded a sense of warmth and comfort. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of activities. The amenities provided were on point. From the fully equipped kitchen to the bathrooms, every need and desire was anticipated. The property also featured a private outdoor patio where we could enjoy morning coffee and views of the pond and surroundings. Host communication was perfect and the overall experience was excellent. We would stay here again!

My family of six adults vacationed for four nights at Red Cottages 'Highball House' in February 2023. Great home! A bit closer to the road than we originally expected, but it didn't matter. The area is very quiet and there is plenty of yard space/greenery around. Great distance to local errands/attractions (without being too close) for those who are looking to lay some what low for your stay. We loved the fireplace, large windows, most of all- the layout of the main floor. Every detail was considered, including a towel warmer in the master, very well-stocked pantry, robes/slippers, and any electronics charger and cord you may have forgotten. Bathrooms were updated and had some extra touches that elevated the experience. There were multiple ways to hook up your phone to play music, floor pillows for extra seating, and most lights were on dimmers- which was a nice feature, especially at night. The basement was cold and the heaters (provided) were necessary. Overall, a stylish, well-thought-out, clean rental that we will definitely book again!
