The Good Witch Coffee Bar

Obsessed! I was skeptical at first about trying a coffee shop in a train station, normally those aren’t good. But this was an amazing experience. Not only are the staff extremely friendly, but this has to have been the best hojicha latte I’ve ever had. We got there at around 12 and the pastry selection was pretty much done which was disappointing, but we still managed to get a cookie and a bagel with cream cheese. Both were delicious. We didn’t know it was pumpernickel bagel which I hateeeee but we could hardly taste the pumpernickel here. Highly recommend! I thought being near the train it would be noisy but it wasn’t! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic coffee shop found in the Dobbs Ferry Metro North Station. The staff is wonderfully talented and friendly. Reasonable prices. Seating available for indoor and outdoor. Cash and credit are both accepted. Be aware there is a 0.25 cent charge for drinks to go, unless you bring your own. The food options are good and convenient for the go. 12/2022

So many delicious food choices! Currently loving the cheddar/kale scones, but the breads, muffins, bagels, Saturday egg sandwiches...all are wonderful (and vegetarian!). For drinks I generally just go for coffee with a splash of oat milk, but everything I've tried has been great - and the lattes are beautiful as well.

This is a very family-friendly place with frequent events outside, and I love the days when I have a chance to sit and enjoy the ambience instead of grabbing something to go. The servers are always very kind and friendly, as is the owner.

Free parking is available in the front circle, with a lot of street metered parking nearby available.

We are so lucky to have The Good Witch in our town. It’s become a special destination to go on “dates” with my kids since they always have something delicious for them. Although not specifically advertised, I know that the highest quality ingredients are used in the items they make, and they are very socially conscious when sourcing their products. As a non-coffee drinker, I love the variety of drinks I can choose from as well. The Good Witch is way more than just a coffee shop, and the owner, Joanna, is such an inspiring person and leader in our community.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! I'm a commuter and have the joy of walking through this amazing spot 5 days a week as I head to my train into Grand Central. When I'm not running late, I usually grab a delicious muffin or treat myself to a fabulous oat milk cappuccino (a first for me-now it's my go to) to sip as I ride to work. The owner and her gracious baristas are always smiling and happy - you can tell she treats her employees well. It's obvious she puts a lot of care and time into her creations and is continually striving to offer interesting events to the Hastings community. There is always something fun happening at this shop so if you have the time, do check it out. You will not be disappointed.
