Gorgeous walk from the parking lot close to downtown Rye. A nice just under a 1 mile walk down to the water. So peaceful.
This place is really special and worth exploring. It’s beautiful and full of all kinds of birds, mushrooms, and other wildlife! I even saw a coyote once.
Beautiful place for a walk anytime of year. We've been coming here for years. It feels a little too crowded some days, so try for an off time.
I love this place. Well marked trails, you can hike to the water and during the spring they have breeding ospreys!
Gorgeous nature sanctuary. Upon arrival we were met by a super friendly and hospitable person working here who offered us a free map that was very helpful to find all the trails.
The area is full of birds, we saw swans, a wild turkey and a deer. Very quiet on Sunday.
Peaceful place with great atmosphere. There’s parking and portable toilets (super clean). Highly recommend this park!
