Stopped in on our way back to Charlotte for some breakfast. Wow were we surprised. This is the type of food I grew up with and would gladly come back when we are in the area. The Route 220 skillet is great. Corned beef, eggs, hash browns, gravy, cheese.
Our family tried Aleko's Kitchen for the first time today. Aleko's serves both Greek and American food. We love Greek food; however, we wanted to try their American fare because we've had a hard time finding a place that even comes close to Southern home cooking. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. (Masks are optional, also) Aleko's offers large servings of delicious food and beverages and our server, Danielle, was the best. We recommend their salmon cakes, mac n cheese, collard greens, cornbread, hamburger steak, and lima beans w/corn. We would have given six stars if it were possible. We will definitely be back.
This is a small but very friendly place. You definitely get your money's worth of food. They have some Greek and American food. Be sure to read the white board when you walk in for a few more dishes which are not written in the main menu.
