  A nice casual seafood restaurant. I love the shrimp and fish salt and peppered. And the service is great there always nice and friendly

  Today my wife and I dined at Captain's Gallery for the first time. We were very pleased with the food quality and service. The menu is expansive and has items that should please a wide array of tastes. We both had the broiled flounder and it was delicious. My wife had the New England chowder and thoroughly enjoyed it. My baby shrimp cocktail was very satisfying. The one and only criticism I have is that my wife's sweet potato was slightly underdone. But that one thing will not stop us from dining there again.

  Such great food with large portions. Bring your appetite. Your drink never stops. Everything we had was so good. The restaurant is so clean and the staff super friendly. Will definitely be back here for dinner.

  My husband and I had dinner here tonight. My husband is a Seaman, and we decided to have a nice seafood dinner together before he has to leave again. The food portions were huge. Enough to take home for the family. The prices were great as well. The best part of the whole experience was our server, Justin. He is the BEST SERVER we have ever had, and we eat out way too much! The service was so great that we had to pull the manager aside to let him know. I 100% recommened this place!

  *My review is based on the many, many times my family has eaten at this restaurant.
  This is my favorite place to eat in Hickory.
  Food is always great. My family has eaten here at least once a month, for a number of years. Both dine-in and takeout are excellent. Waitresses are always very friendly and wonderful at their jobs.
  However, the last take-out order we placed was incorrect. The problem was caught as the cashier was repeating the order back to me right before I paid. The guy that had taken my order over the phone had written down my order incorrectly (cheese sticks instead of zucchini sticks, baked potato instead of sweet potato for a side) and the food was made the exact way the order was written.
  I informed the cashier and she checked our entire order (quite a bit of food [$50 order]) to make sure everything else was right and then corrected the mistake with no other issues. This is the only time we have ever had any problem at all, and it really wasn't even a "problem." I definitely recommend for anyone to give this place a shot.
