MaryBeth Gangemi is an incredibly passionate and highly skilled trainer with an integrated approach to sustainable movement, strength, health, and fitness. She is warm, kind, and welcoming while the light-filled studio and outdoor movement classes surrounded by natural beauty have provided an inspiring setting as I've worked to regain strength, health, and mobility after living with a health challenge for years.
Prior to discovering Kairos Strong, I struggled to find group classes led by an instructor with the knowledge or time to modify exercises, which often led to further pain or injuries. MaryBeth is careful to ensure movements are safe, good form, and appropriately scaled for each client's ability and goals. Since I started attending classes here, I am feeling better, moving well, and getting stronger every day. I contacted Kairos Strong after a year of slowly abandoning a healthy exercise practice, which resulted from gyms and yoga studios closing due to COVID-19. My experience as a healthcare professional resulted in me experiencing a new type and level of stress and anxiety, which was compounded by less physical movement. After spending time with MaryBeth, I am seeking out daily opportunities to move and exercise! I have become stronger and am finding joy in new (and old!) daily experiences. After completing a comprehensive health intake, MaryBeth designed a personal program tailored to meet my goals and personal health needs. I can honestly say that this has been a very difficult year for anyone working in healthcare, and MaryBeth has provided a roadmap for me to regain strength, faith and confidence! MaryBeth is a wonderful instructor and example of physical (and emotional) fitness. She knows firsthand of what she speaks and walks the talk in her own life. I have known MaryBeth for a decade and recently availed myself of her expertise during private training as well as while hiking with a group. MaryBeth is knowledgeable, caring, and wise about how best to strengthen one's body and brain. When adjustments are needed, she comes up with what is best to help me achieve the desired improvement.
