The Modern Life Deli and Drinks

Enjoyed our dinner. We went with a couple of 12” pizzas and they were delicious. Staff was attentive and restaurant had good vibe. Definitely hope to visit again to try other items. People kept ordering the pretzels and they looked great. Need to try it next time.

This place is laid back, clean, and the food is amazing! Outside seating is great too! The pork nachos were divine and our server, Shannon was incredible. Busy as can be there, she still made us feel like we were the only ones there. Thanks for a great experience!

Great service, great food, the burger OMG, great sweet tea and a great beer selection, love the fire patio and I heard next door they even have a pool table.

Party of 11. We sat ourselves, as sign requested.

I Offered to clean off a table as it wasn’t very clean.
Server (Devonte) said not to worry, he’ll do it.
I saw he was extremely busy as he was doing everything but cooking.
He cleaned it off right away and took care of us as best he could.

We watched as this hustling young man performed host, server, cashier and bus boy duties, while one other employee worked the kitchen.
With 2 people total running the restaurant, we were surprised we didn’t wait longer than we did.

The wait wasn’t awful, and we weren’t in a rush anyway. Even if we were, we couldn’t have even justified complaining as this kid ran his a$$ off trying to provide the best service as possible.

Food was very good. We ordered pizzas, burger, sandwiches and wings and were amazed one person could churn out everything around the same time and without errors. It wasn’t until the end a 3rd employee appeared to help serve.
Hats off to your hard working skeleton crew.
Hopefully it’s a labor issue every industry is facing, and not an owner trying to save money on staff.

Would definitely come in again in the future.

Excellent Neapolitan pies and Quesadilla. The salsas served with it were very good, too. I'd imagine everything is good, and I wish I could have tried more stuff.

Rock solid beer list and fantastic service as well. Look forward to going back!
