501 Estates Apartments

My experience with the 501 Estates team has been wonderful thus far. I moved from out of state for work and there was a lot to juggle with COVID. Monica and Leanne did a wonderful job in providing tours virtually and in-person last minute as well as being responsive to all the questions I had about the complex, staff and Durham area. Before I moved in they addressed a few things I requested in the apartment and have been wonderfully accommodating.

The apartment renovations are wonderful, and the kitchen for my 2 bed/2 bath is very nice with the granite tops. I see a lot of folks walking their dogs around and are quite social as well as the team runs additional social events to encourage community safely in the midst of the pandemic. I would highly recommend this team and area as a great place to live!

I LOVED IT HERE! Unfortunately, my family grew so I had to move. That being said I wanted to inform future residents that the staff is amazing! They also have a great maintenance team especially John he was very professional and made me laugh anytime he came to fix something. I highly recommend this place!

Just a note to give credit where credit is due. I just left my nephew's
beautiful apartment at 501 Estates to return home to Florida. I'll be returning to Durham in March 2021 for a medical procedure at duke.
Monica Yuk was kind enough to give me a tour of the property, she showed
me the townhouses and cottages and included a couple of newly renovated
apartments. I was also informed my dog would be welcomed. Thank You
Monica, I appreciate your time and understanding that seniors take a little longer to do everything.

I moved in in late July and have had a very positive experience living here. Upon moving in, my apartment was clean and in immaculate condition. The office team does a great job in hosting events to build community and they are continuously working to improve different features such as adding a new “chill & grill” area and a new workout facility. I also would love to commend the maintenance team because I have never experienced such prompt responses to any maintenance issues in apartments I’ve lived in previously. One of the issues I had was a minor leak under the sink. I submitted a maintenance request online and 24 hours later a polite gentleman showed up to resolve my issue. The second issue I had was deemed an “emergency” based upon their guidelines as I had issues with my toilet flushing in a one bath apartment. I called the emergency line on a Sunday morning at 0715, received a call back at 0730, and the maintenance staff member, Lee, had resolved my issue by 0845. I am in awe of how promptly they took care of this problem for me. I’m a busy graduate student and knowing how seriously and promptly they address maintenance requests gives me peace of mind. Thank you so much to the maintenance team and office team for making this a fantastic community! I highly recommend you check out 501 estates!
