Sunshine House of Winston-Salem - Country Club Rd.

We are so lucky to have found this gem of a daycare. Our boys love the kids, the staff and the facility. My three year old always has exciting stories when he gets home of all of the fun he's had during the day. Couldn't ask for a better daycare!

I have an infant and the teachers in that room are great! Any time I have an issue or need my son to have extra fluids or diaper changes, they do it. The teachers I have met in the infant room, love babies and it shows. My son smiles when he sees them and I feel comfortable leaving him in their care while I work.
The teachers do learning exercises with the babies and teach sign language to them (just basics: hungry, more, etc). The infant room also always has the best decorated door for their monthly door decorations!
The directors are great with working with you to fix any issues you may have. You just have to ask for what you want/need and they work with you to make it happen.
After a terrible experience before we found this center, I have to say this was such a blessing to find!
The parking to get in can be tricky on a busy morning or evening since there are only so many spaces so close together. If one person parks stupid, it messes it up for everyone else. I have had to Park on the side street a few times since all the spots were taken. Not sure if that can ever be fixed though since the front lot is so small. But they have large outside play areas for the kids all fenced in so I guess that's the trade off.

I am very satisfied with this daycare and the care that is given to my daughter. She really likes all of her teachers. I also like the email notifications that I receive throughout the day keeping me updated on her progress.

I am so glad I moved my daughter to this daycare. It was the best decision I could have made. I needed to move her from her previous daycare but was uneasy about where. I inquired with a friend about The Sunshine House and decided to take her. The Directors were both very nice and welcoming. I was able to have my daughter spend a full day at the daycare in the class where she would be placed to see if she liked it. Needless to say she had an amazing time! For several days all she spoke about was her new best friends and how much fun she had. The atmosphere is positive, and you can tell the kids really enjoy being there. It’s truly a great place to be.
