Portofino's Italian Restaurant Ayrsley

We had an amazing experience here the other night! Service was quick for us but it looks like it can be a longer wait during busy times because it's a popular restaurant in the area, so plan ahead. We sat at the bar and Rhonda was the bartender- and she served us our food. She was so sweet and personable- it really made it feel like a family-owned restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious, and we loved the atmosphere. The portions were also really large for a great price. We will surely be back!

This place exceeded my expectations. Good well rounded meal, portions were generous, food was great. Most importantly, our server Jose made the experience a wonderful one. He was attentive, he always offered service and didn’t wait for us to ask, he brought to go boxes to our table and just started boxing them up nice and carefully, and even ran back to get another little box for our roasted red peppers he offered for us to take home as well. Just overall genuine service. A very rare find in today’s world. We actually had just walked out of the restaurant down the street because of their terrible service and Jose was just what we needed to pick us back up. Thank you Jose!

Food was excellent and service as well. Attentive but not intrusive. This was an outing for my birthday. No room for dessert! Sigh. . . Had my favorite, eggplant parmigiana with pasta. Menu lists this entree as a baked version as well. No diffetence. Same price and you can get it with or without pasta. Bread refills available. Salad could have been cut up a bit more but I like chopped salads. The ranch dressing was delicious and served generously on the side. Nice atmosphere and tasteful interior. Definitely had plenty to take home.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Portions were generous ( come hungry or be prepared to take a box of leftovers home 😁). The Gnocchi Bolognese was delicious. Definitely recommend. Prices were on par for the area but with the portion size you get, great value.
