We Met Mike Carpino with Lake and Town Realty LLC, over the phone, from the west coast in June of 2021. We had not even decided where we were going to move yet. That did not prevent Mike from giving us a very warm welcome. Mike was totally willing to take a chance on us. He dropped what he was doing to spend a week showing us around the Lake Norman area. He drove us through neighborhoods, showed us parks, where shopping was, where the restaurants were both on and off the lake. He showed us several potential houses, knowing full well we still had to market our house in CA and were not going to be making any offers that week. We came back in September and started the serious search, which proved to be very challenging with the limited inventory of houses on the lake. What we loved about Mike is his positive attitude and his willingness, at the drop of a hat, to get us appointments and meet us at the properties as they came up. Mike proved to be very knowledgeable about what to look for in lake homes. He has great knowledge about houses in general, not only what is good but also what is not good or what will need repair or upgrades to bring it up to current standards or style. Even more impressive was his knowledge around what to look for in lake lots and lake houses. He looks for things like the condition of the docks, does it have a lift, depth of the water, had it been or does it need to be dredged, usable shoreline, access from the house to the lake, quality of the view for resale, adequacy of shoreline stabilization and many other characteristics. It took us almost 9 months to find our perfect house, and we are so grateful for the very professional guidance we got from Mike during this journey. We will gladly utilize Mikes services again for any future real estate business that we may be part of.

Mike is great. He completely understood our specific needs and made sure to accommodate them. Mike is extremely responsive. He met us at properties whenever and wherever we requested. He also had all the contacts with the other services you need to deal with. Coming from out of state this was a big plus having a realtor who did more than just show us houses but also got us through all the rest of the process. Mike is super easy to work with.
