(July 26, 2014, 11:34 am)I have been looking to learn how to play the oboe for many years. Found one on Amazon that seemed suitable. But I decided to look around some more. Found a link on the Selmer Musical Instrument website to John Simonetti Music here in Durham, NC. I called John and we talked about what I might need as far as a beginner's oboe. I ordered the next step up Selmer Oboe from the one I had found on Amazon for just a little bit of $$ more. John ordered it and it arrived in only one week. His significant other Alicia and their daughters hand delivered my new oboe that very day and it is perfect! John was very helpful and service oriented. I love my new oboe!!
