  This is my first time ordering from Oak City Fish and Chips. I was craving some fried fish and stumbled across the location on Google. I placed my order for two double plates (fish and oyster, fish and shrimp) with hush puppies. I called in also to confirm my time of arrival. I was told due to Covid-19 regulations, the location was closed 10 minutes prior to my order. The courteous and empathetic team member I spoke with on the phone, however, told me he would be happy to prepare the order for me! Very kind and understanding. Food was freshly fried and prepared! Perfectly seasoned, crispy and hot. I will be back!

  Love the shrimp and oysters and the brown sugar hush puppies. Plates cook to order.. Great food

  Dale is awesome! This location does not have actual sit down seating but more of a take out. Everything seems to be made fresh to order on the spot. The food was incredibly good!! I Definitely know why all the rage about oak city and will make this a normal lunch spot for me.
