If you're a guy who takes no particular pleasure in going to a hair salon then you likely look for barber shops which are dwindling in numbers over the last 20 years. I stumbled across Santa Maria's Barbershop only recently although I've lived in in the area since 2013. I decided to go there when my barber blew off another appointment presumably because he was out late the night before and canceled all of his appointments next morning. This place is fantastic... It's run by two young ladies who are excellent barbers. It has a friendly clean atmosphere and it's literally 50% of the cost of almost any of the other barber shops I've been to. What I particularly like is the owner will make deals with customers where if you pay in advance for say six months of cuts she'll she will give you a steep discount and keep track of the prepaid cuts. I honestly can't say enough nice things about this place, I just wish that zoning would allow them more advertising on the outside of their building. They are located directly next door to the large Aurora School of Music ... I strongly suggest you check them out , they're great with kids and adults alike. You won't regret giving them a chance.

Great little place. Love that I can get a beard trim and shave along with haircut. Highly recommend.
